So you can... choose to survive when you'd normally die by paying hope... that's not really grimdark imo Taking rests gives the GM...

The campaign frames do have alterations on certain ancestries. Age of Umbra Ribbets (the frog people) are much larger and more bestial...

I guess anything can be grimdark... but, at least from the videos, materials, etc. I've seen (my actual copy of the game will be here...
