"This place is warm, and I should pack some of my gear," Wawaate remarks. "I had a meal here, a small one, but I will survive for now. It has, however, been a long day for me, involving a fight between dragons, travel across a frozen lake, falling in an avalanche, and arriving here."

"Intimidation is a tool to prevent escalation. Threatening is hoping you won't have to fight to get what you want. One is done out of power. The other, weakness." The painted warrior looks outward as he speaks, seemingly relaxed regarding his companions.

Wawaate eats mostly fungi, and tries the rat. He heads outside with Mr. Black, taking the lead. He keeps his eyes open, watching the alleyway.

To Mr. Black's offer, Wawaate answers, "Yes, something to eat is good. That was my next question, in fact, about this place: if there are no seasons, how does everyone feed themselves?"

Wawaate chuckles. The sight seems a bit odd, given his frowning facepaint. "Indeed, Mr. Black. An odd custom, but not entirely unexpected."
