    The Bucaneer's Savvy works as way to keep the enemies nearby while the swashbuckler prepare itself to deliver another close burst attack in the next round. It works better with a lot of enemies around, becouse the AC of the swashbuckler will hit epic values.

    The Environment Awareness class feature was created to feels something like this, but I cound't realize how to do it work within the game mechanics. So, you can use that Int or Cha bonus provided to ask your DM if you can do things like you're saying, since it was exactly what I had in mind.
