    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

The projection is strong. The only thing disingenuous here is that you only care about the *original artist of the altered comic insomuch as you feel it gives you a rhetorical drum to beat to avoid addressing any point being made by someone you disagree with. If it had been similarly altered...

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

More than a one second glance shows that the comic was clearly edited from whatever it originally was. That motives are immediately assigned, with zero engagement of points being made is proof of the intentional bad-faith interpretations and insinuations towards people that disagree with them...

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

Except sales numbers don't lie. Yes, it is a partial data set, but Roll for Combat and Prof DM are pretty good about being realistic about extrapolating data. Here: 1:38:02 in to 1:40:60 Here: 6:00 in. Awards and blips on some best seller chart are all trumped by sales to actual customers...

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

"...from a Radiant Citadel adventure." Not a selling point. The Radiant Citadel book was one of WOTC's worst selling recent offerings. The wider fanbase didn't even really want it. And the point stands: It is a completely ridiculous way to "sell" a game called Dungeons and Dragons...

D&D General Dragonborn In Your Game (A Poll)

If Dragonborn had their ability to breath fire, and flight taken away, would they be as popular a character class as they are now? The half-orc fighter used to be ubiquitous, but since ability score bonuses got flattened out they are far behind dragonborn and tieflings as current trends go..

Itch.io is shadowbanning or deleting NSFW and LGBTQ content

The complete text of the EO does not violate a single forum rule: "keep it civil, keep it clean, and keep it on topic, keep it inclusive." It is rather dry reading actually. In this thread people have said that the laws need to change to stop these monopoly processors from debanking sites and...

Itch.io is shadowbanning or deleting NSFW and LGBTQ content

Executive orders do have the weight of law within the Executive branch. Which in this case happens to include all the relevant agencies to enforce this. But, it can be undone with the stroke of a pen by the next guy to come along. To make it permanent, hit up your representatives to pass a bill...

A few things I really like about WFRP

Not critiquing this. In fact it is entirely to their credit that they are willing to admit when they went astray, and take steps to correct it. But they would have had to do less of it had things been properly caught during playtesting. I readily admit that I am absolutely being a bit salty...

A few things I really like about WFRP

Not really considering that they released two supplements to fix core systems.

A few things I really like about WFRP

Because it is a fiddly, and poorly playtested beast. It is no accident that the most enthusiastic about the game run almost exclusively on a VTT, automation covers a lot of sins... In my opinion; The game should be redesigned around the fast SL rules from top to bottom. With the goal being to...

    Free League Year Zero Engine

For Vaesen, a condition = damage. You can only take 3 conditions before you are 'broken' and have to roll on a critical table. Every time you take a condition, you -1D from your diepools. So for vaesen -1, -2, -3, then Broken. Which is why in actual play, pushing is only done in desperation...
