in our campaign myself as a player (wizard) was recently targetted - basically i really pissed of an NPC when we agreed to get a minor artifact from a vampire (whose castle he could not enter, for unnamed reasons) and return it to him for some sort of substantial reward (unknown to us)...

Some of my favorite items are from MoTP, are there any non-artifact non-vehicle items with planar flavor?

I think RAW it depends on the ability, check the TARGET: if it says on creature, i don't see why you couldn't hit yourself (or an ally). if its an enemy then you cannot hit yourself or an ally as an enemy is someone who poses a 'credible threat'. Of course house rules make it all good!

i think its 2d6 damage if you have combat advantage, limit 1 time per round (? - you can increase it to d8's with a feat, and get another use with an action point with another feat) You can get CA if someone is flanked, prone, etc, (and from some powers). The damage done by Sneak Attack...

In our party our fighter doesnt mind if I hit him, in fact often we'll use his come & get it so surround enemies for me to use maze of Mirrors on, so the strikers can go nuts (and I usually drop another AoE right on his head after). I often make up for this by using my Healing Word (MC Cleric)...

maybe someone can use shapeways to do something similar ;)

I agree, although I don't dislike the Sorcerer out of all that remain it appeals to me the least.
