Really? Considering that alignment no longer has mechanical effects at all (no more detect evil!), this would surprise me.

Nice! Ever since Eberron came out I've wanted to play a dino-riding halfling barbarian, never had the chance though.

TWF might even be the best way to go for halfling/gnome/goblin/kobold barbarians who are too small to use a Greataxe or Greatsword effectively.

The words that barbarians don't know could fill a dictionary. :p

Having missed 4th, I don't get it either. They want to attack with Cha instead of Str or Dex? Why?

Most likely, considering that so far alignment is a flavor concept that doesn't affect any game mechanics.

5E also makes it simple to make a pretty mean Link clone. High Elf Folk Hero fighter with high dex and light armor, using long bow and shield/rapier (not quite the master sword, but close enough) and for your cantrip either Firebolt or Ray of Frost (Fire/Ice arrows).

Allegedly the Paladin will also have Avenger and Green Knight, and Arcane Trickster for the rogue. EDIT: Beat to the punch.

This. Or reskin handaxes if the player wants to throw them. If they want to throw and finesse them, daggers.

At the moment there's not much to optimize. In a couple weeks I'm sure someone will find a spell or feat combo in the PHB to break.

I really like that these aren't labeled. This way it's "here's some ideas of what your weapons might look like" instead of "this is what your weapons look like"

Returning. I started with 3e and last time I played was shortly before 4e came out. 5th edition has me excited again. :D
