I loved these books in 2E and would definitely support this project. Though I would like the Wizards handbook or caster handbook to include Sorcerer a Warlock, even more.
Based on over 30 years experience as a DM and player I agree. Sandboxes can be a lot of fun but they are a lot of work and it is pretty common for the DM, players or both to lose the plot or tension that make the game compelling.
Same here. Drivethru PoD is garbage. If I really like a project like that I may back at the PDF and print it through Lulu but I have to feel motivated.
I don’t mind the price increases just wish they were also improving the quality. The color saturation and binding are still pretty poor even compared to POD places like Lulu.
Kinda bummed this is B&W. Grew up in 1st and 2nd edition and I don’t mind the OARs reprinted as they were but after doing the Dunegon Denizens in color this seems like a weird choice. Pretty pricey for black and white to me.
I have pulled back on crowdfunding too. If this was a Kickstarter for Midgard specific content I might have caved. But I am saving my monster budget for Goodman Games follow up to the Dungeon Denizens.
