How to Delay or Avoid GM Burnout

Running published adventures in an established setting can really help free up that extra work of plotting out a new adventure each week. It's much easier to make adjustments to published modules to still make them your own. As a GM, my advice is always "Never fall in love with your...

Pathfinder 2E Why are all the magic items so boring?

It's a feature of the system. Pathfinder 2e was designed for people that hate Pathfinder 1e.

    Pathfinder Teases New Runelords Content

I'm surprised Paizo hasn't put the Runelords into any of the 2e adventures yet. The three Runelords paths were real favorites among my gaming group.

D&D General [rant]The conservatism of D&D fans is exhausting.

Nothing wrong with letting people play the game they enjoy. Switch around all you like.

WotC Would you buy WotC products produced or enhanced with AI?

I'd say "No," because WotC adventures are already pretty mediocre and one generated by AI can only aspire to their baseline at best.

    D&D (2024) D&D Cartoon Character Stats & Magic Items

Even on the show, Sheila would go visible right after she would do something. I agree it would be better played as invisibility, but with unlimited uses.

D&D General (SPOILERS for Vecna: Eve of Ruin) Are My Standards Too High for Adventures?

Can I translate that for you? "Waaaaaaaaah."

D&D General (SPOILERS for Vecna: Eve of Ruin) Are My Standards Too High for Adventures?

I find it next to impossible to make an adventure that plays the same for every gaming group in existence. A good DM can always find a way to make an adventure their own and bring it to life for their group. The first step is to figure out what doesn't work for you and then just replace it with...

D&D 5E There Will Be No More Hydro74 Alternate D&D Covers

The Vecna design is really nice. It's the only alt cover I ever purchased, but I like the iconic image of the Hand of Vecna on the cover. Nice way to go out.

D&D (2024) New Dungeon Master's Guide Cover Features Venger (From the D&D Cartoons)

Venger AND Warduke! I hope this means we’ll get these characters with updated stats at some point.

Pathfinder Playtest Updates and New Releases

Sure, the spellless ranger is similar to the second edition ranger. The inventor feels similar to the tinkerer from your book.

Pathfinder Gallowspire Survivor in Early Access and Organized Play Updates

It's fun. Overly simple controls, but it's not a traditional dungeon crawler and more of a survival app game. Autofire is constant and all you do is focus on moving your PC out of trouble.

Pathfinder Playtest Updates and New Releases

If you want new classes, pick up the New Paths Compendium from Kobold Press and give it a spin. Several design choices inside were copied for Pathfinder Second edition. There's plenty of content out there if you just look at the third party efforts. Do more playing, less complaining.

    Paizo Unveils Two New Classes

They look pretty much like occult class reskins. If you grab resources like the New Paths Compendium, you have plenty of great classes without ever touching PF2. That said, we're four years into PF2, so the surprise of no more new PF1 content should have worn off by now.

Pathfinder Abomination Vaults Hack & Slash Game Coming To Kickstarter

It's too bad Owlcat isn't designing this one too. Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous are my favorite dungeon crawlers of the past decade.
