My advice to you is to simply box up all the D&D stuff and put it in the closet. Then play Buffy or L5R or whatever your group decides on. No sense in getting back only a fraction of what you paid for the books, and then having to rebuy them if someone in your group gets the yen to play again.
As a player I would despise being blatantly railroaded as bad as you folks have been to get you into this adventure. You must get this Rod by a certain time or your all dead? And the DM has killed off all of the stuff relating to your hopes and dreams to force you to go on the adventure...
You need greater magic weapon badly. Try to have the Banite Cleric memorize that to buff your weapons before you wade in against these beasties. Try to retreat alot so you can try different approaches against some stuff.
Don't try to brute force through stuff if you don't have to. Alot...

Oberleutnant Kreig: He was the head of the Nazi Mutant program which was formed by Josef Georbels. He was basically a regular person that controlled the...
I agree with you 100% WizarDru. The biggest thing we will probably see is a slightly tweaked Ranger and Bard. I have a feeling that they have no intention of doing something as foolish as fracturing their fan-base into 3.0 and 3.1 camps.
The conversion stuff will probably be about how to...
Banning the Blindsight spell is a good idea but I think simply having the PCs taste the same medicine something interesting to try. For instance I would have a foe of theirs run for it when the party offs his group with this tactic. That foe will tell the rest of his organization of what...
All this talk of descriptors and stuff may not be convincing enough so lets look at the wording of the spells. In the Phantasmal Killer spell it actually has the words "... succeed at a Fortitude save or die from fear." in it. The Death Ward spell says that it doesn't protect you from...
