I believe that the epic Wield Oversized weapon feat would suffice, if Monkey Grip would not. The "treat as smaller weapon" would be immaterial, but making the weapon one size lighter means you can make it one size bigger. BTW, make the wielder a half giant or Goliath and it could be even bigger.

I'm pretty sure that if you fail the save vs. the image, you think you're flanked. The image being ajacent to the target (trying to threaten) would be enough to me require a will save to disbelieve.
