Been playing D&D since 1986! Started with the red box and AD&D. I was a holdout on 2nd Ed AD&D, but eventually made the switch. After the "dark times" of the mid-90's, I was happy to give 3rd Edition a try, and found I really like it. Moved on to 3.5 and have kept up with some of the rules-lite systems and the OSR books. Tried out 4E and found it wasn't for me. It's a pretty solid system for the most part, but doesn't suit my style of play and DM'ing. Have since moved on to Pathfinder. Currently run a game with 8 players, and play in another PF campaign with four others. Occasionally play 4E with a third group! Not interested in Edition Wars, I'm happy there are plenty of options out there for all of us!

This is actually my second screen name on these boards, I felt it was time to start over. I have a fairly wry sense of humor that doesn't come across on the interwebs very well, and I'd bet that there are quite a few folks on these boards that see my old screen name and avatar and automatically take a negative view. My hope is to be a constructive and positive presence here.
