Been gaming since I 1979 with the basic box set, I've been through a long and winding road of experiences and careers to finally land with a desire to use roleplaying games in education. I have a strong belief and practical experience in the power of roleplaying games to offer a balanced learning environment that fosters a sense of investment in players in the subject matter at hand, making it perfectly suited for teaching subjects in K-12 and beyond. Further, gaming fosters empathy and ethical decision making, and depending on the system, can teach individuals how to better live their lives. I feel a calling to help foster a renaissance in our culture that allows individuals to fulfill their entire being, and I believe using well-designed RPGs is a path towards self enlightenment.
