My first experience with tabletop gaming was "Vampire: The Masquerade" back in high school, which never really took, but I've had a collection of gamer friends for the past couple years, so I'm pretty inexperienced overall. I've only known D&D since 3rd Edition, and I've only actually played it since 3.5. Now I only play 4th Edition, which I like much better than the previous two. I have no intention of every playing a game that includes THAC0, but I am interested in learning more about games while I have the time, especially if it can lead to creating material of my own.
