I'm really just trying to get a consensus on how this ability is being effected, what works and what doesn't. This might take a while tho since not many people are posting.

Even if you don't get regular skill bonuses I don't see why the bard can have something like Potion of Vocal Alteration (or just the spell in general) and gain Nothing from it. Any player gets that benefit if they have the skill or not, but the bard can't just because he's acting?? That's...
