Yeah, but this is a comic, not an actual D&D scenario. People seem to forget that quite often.

"Belkar will draw his last breath - ever -" To me, this sounds more like he's going to become undead or something like that. If he was going to die, the panel would've probably been more clear in meaning.

It's completely possible that he's just tracking the damage in his head, he might be rounding some numbers here and there, but even the exact values don't require that much mathematical skills and/or memory. That said, I usually track HPs on paper with much piety, but I could very well see...
