Well, not much point talking about this here I guess. "Actions the Rules Don’t Cover" from the DMG would work well enough.

It ranks right up there with Grab or Total Defense - it is a simple move that adds flexibility to the combat system. If a troll or giant wanted to pick up and throw someone, you wouldn't need a power for that. That would be ridiculous. I thought there might be a consensus already on how to deal...

Either, with the target possibly becoming Prone. (Reflex?) I wouldn't believe simple actions like these would be power-only. mlund's take sounds like a good start, I'm not sure about the falling damage bit. KISS, you know? A modified Bull Rush with different flavor text might work too.

How do you throw or trip enemies? I'm assuming it is a standard action and that you have to Grab them first. What is the common way of dealing with this scenario? Sorry if this was answered already, I can't seem to find the search for these forums.
