Not annoyed.. I guess I'll just let my players choose. On a critical hit they either do max damage, or are allowed to roll an extra dice. Shouldn't make too much difference in the end.

Thank you for your replies! Turn Unread would be an awesome spell! I had my doubts about fascination for 1 round/level myself, but that's how they did it in 3.5... Perhaps 1 round/level + CHA modifier would be better? I had expected more critical replies, so I guess I did a pretty good job...
