I have zero nostalgia for D&D of yesteryear, but I find the creativity and freedom inherent in the space really fun and inspiring. I can tell stories I can't tell (as easily at least) in D20 modern fantasy. Mothership, the BORGs, Trophy and Shadowdark have been so fun.

Once upon a time I spent way too much time and money on the Legends of the Five Rings collectable card game, and burned out so hard on playing competively I lost any desire to ever play a card game as such again.

I've recently had a blast making base syrups using demerara sugar and turbinado sugar. My partner and I love to compare old fashioned tweaked as such. Turbinado is the way to go, in my opinion, for many cocktails, if you want the drink to have a denser body/floor without overtaking the drink.
