I get my dice straight from Chessex. It might cost a bit more, but the service and turnaround time is EXCELLENT. The opaque ones with contrasting colors for the numbers are much easier to read.

I can see this as being extremely useful for replacing PCs midcampaign, to explain where these mid- to high-level new PCs gained thier levels before joining the party. While complicated, the whole minigame aspect looks like something I would enjoy.
