My mother introduced our family to D&D in 1979. Though she no longer plays, I've kept the tradition alive with my own family and friends. Once my children were all raised and off living their own lives we sort of put the game aside for a bit. But now many years later I'm ready for new adventures, this time with my teenage grandchildren! I've played the original D&D, Ad&d, Ad&d 2e, 3e, 3.5e....and now 5e. See ya in Shadowdale!!
