    White Wolf Bought By Paradox

I am very excited by this development. A Crusader Kings 2 variant with Vampires would be awesome! But more importantly I hope that this move will mean that the RPG's can come home to Retail distribution and they can stop Onyx with their hate of retailers.

[UPDATED] Dragon+: An Official D&D iOS App

Because they are a good quality, intuitive to use mobile phone experience that seamlessly integrates with my office and my windwos pc and laptop and Xbox games and achievements too. Having used and owned both iPhones and Samsung Android phones in the past, I hate the thought of having to...

D&D 5E When do you think they will announce the next book?

We were talking about this earlier in store. I would expect an announcement sometime around the beginning of May for an launch at GenCon, based upon the AL Storyline timings. Talking about what that storyline could be, I have wild guess that if they were going for something that is both...

[UPDATED] Pie For Everyone, Just Sliced Very Thinly: The Economics of RPG Book Production

I agree that it is especially helpful in acquiring new players to your products (something I think Wizards of the Coast often get overlooked at for doing within Internet Forums). (Of course I would agree, I'm a retailer :-)) I also like what you do for supporting us (via 13th Age and the...

[UPDATED] Pie For Everyone, Just Sliced Very Thinly: The Economics of RPG Book Production

What I find more interesting about the article and telling (as a retailer myself), that despite many people's claims that retailing is dead and people shouldn't bother with retailers any more that even though your margins are less, your number of units sold is over 50% for this simple small...

[UPDATED] Has ADVENTURER'S HANDBOOK Been Cancelled?

I don't think they have but as nearly everywhere sold out of PHB's sometime around October last year and has been desperate for the reprint which has only just arrived, I think that it has probably exceeded their expectations.

5E Rises But Still Trails Pathinder For Online Games

Yet interestingly for Wizards this is a tactic that has worked for Magic, so I'm not sure if it even is a tactical error. The logic that they would use if you want to follow the chain properly through is very persuasive. Especially for the many roles that D&D has to fit in.
