Well, I'm 23 years old and have played DnD for about 7 years now. My favorite class is Rogue but I've also played a Monk before. I have 0 experience playing as a DM and I'm not interested in learning how to. When it comes to playing, I like it to be serious. Some off-topic conversations are ok, but I hate when the game gets completely off topic. My wife is also interested in starting but she has never played before.
