I have very little experience with tabletop gaming, because I can never seem to find a group. I've played D&D 4e, and I'm very eager to find a 5e group so I can finally play a bard.

I'm also open to other systems (including older editions of D&D); my general preference is to play characters who can talk their way out of things, but I'm not adverse to playing a healer or a brawler if that's what the group is missing.

I also enjoy coming up with character backgrounds and stories, so if you need something written (poorly and at great length), I'd be happy to help.
