I thought Return of the Runelords was the penultimate 1E AP, and the last one will be based on the Whispering Tyrant, perhaps? ISTR remember news coming out of PaizoCon about this.
I believe wizards and sorcerers will get attack cantrips worth using. It's possible that Clerics can get them as well, but Kyra is a more martially-minded cleric and between her reasonable melee (scimitar) and fire rays, they elected to fill her cantrips with standard stuff (Detect Magic, Light...
The DC 20 flat check to remove persistent damage seems like a typo; It's my understanding that a flat check is just a D20 roll, and only curing it on a nat 20 seems rather poor. Perhaps it should be DC 10?
The playtest has gone over to a Silver-based economy, so 3gp is equivalent to 30gp in old Pathfinder. That said, it's my understanding that the Alchemist has a daily crafting allotment for these academical items and typically won't need to worry about purchasing them.
I suspect Treat Disease is the equivalent of providing long-term care: if you do it for the better part of a day (or more), you give those under your care a bonus to their daily saving throw versus the disease. Legendary Medic is more comparable to the Remove Disease spell, or perhaps getting a...

So, I was listening to the Glass Cannon playtest podcast last night, and I thought I heard that wielded items didn't require resonance; only worn items and consumables did. Anyone else catch that tidbit?
Were you referring to some penalty to initiative in this system, or in general? In 5E, ranged attacks within 5' are made with disadvantage, so there's already a penalty.

Hah; I've got a 3rd level half-elf with those stats (actually i swapped Dex and Wis because i thought i'd be grabbing some multiclass Paladin powers. He works pretty well so far. Another point: A spiked shield is both a source of AC and qualifies as a Pact Blade.
Actually, you treat them as 2 one-handed weapons, not a two-handed weapon. Ask Wizards answered this a couple weeks ago.
As for fighting styles, a double weapon wielder will probably be interested in the Tempest Style outline in the Martial Power sourcebook.
