[Adventure] A Call for Lovers (DM: jbear Judge:Lord Sessadore)

With the song completed, Kartuus makes his way to his room, eager for what the next day brings. Short but sweet post. Back on deck, full time now. Thank you everyone for understanding - my interstate trip went for a lot longer than anticipated and there was a lot of follow up.

Magic Vs AC is Very Poor Reasoning

You could always add it in as a houserule module - or maybe there will be a module for more realism. For the base system I am happy with AC as the only determinant to hit. This depends on how you want to define better - yes it can be made more realistic but increased realism means increased...

[OOC Discussion] A Call for Lovers (DM: jbear Judge??)

I will hold off on doing anything until we can see if we can get the prisoner away. How many rounds will it take for the Captain and others to reach the junk? Most likely I will just assist the navigator on a reroll unless anyone can see something I can do that would be more helpful?

[OOC Discussion] A Call for Lovers (DM: jbear Judge??)

Lets get the dying prisoner back to the ship and get out of here. Then we get to have our fun playing target practice with the last remaining junk - that is where the Captain is swimming to?

Thank you Hypersmurf. Now with that out of the way - we will be continuing the playtest this Sunday at 2pm South Australian time if anyone is interested. The purpose of these sessions is to see how different players work together so we can put together a great group for a long term campaign...

[Adventure] A Call for Lovers (DM: jbear Judge:Lord Sessadore)

Calling upon hellfire once more, Kartuus points towards the structure defending the shugenja. The fire sputters at his hand for a moment, before flaring and flying true, but only leaves minor scorch marks on the wooden barricade as a thin drop of blood falls from his nose upon the sea washed...

Kartuus will wait to see the caster and Captains reactions to Wat's call of surrender before acting.

    [D&D 4E Roll20] Australian Timezone

The purpose of these sessions is for me to find a group of players I want to run a game for. Once I have the group I am looking for, we will then discuss whether it will be 4E or Next we will be playing, currently I am leaning heavily towards Next.

Spells that should be rituals or cantrips.

I may be wrong - but I am sure I saw somewhere that Mearls said any spell could be cast as a ritual. I think this was an idea they had or similar. I like it a lot, it keeps things simple (no need for each spell to be tiered) and allows casters to get mileage out of their non-combat and...

This, this, a thousand times this! At least this one does not involve such a large wall of nonsense this time.
