    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Character Generator

Well, unfortunately for Venture Captain (but fortunately for me), my career exploded and I found myself with a lot less time. So a comparison of what could have been may not be all that important. The site is still up, but I haven't had much time to develop it further...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Character Generator

Venture Captain Pathfinder Character Generator I know this is an old thread, but I'm actually working on a free web-based character creator for Pathfinder: Venture Captain. It's still in beta technically, but it currently supports all the core class features, racial traits, feats, skills, magic...

    Online PFRPG Character Generator

Well, the feat overlays are not that dynamic, so it should show those proficiencies. However, the logic for Improved Shield bash should now work as expected.

    Online PFRPG Character Generator

Yes there will be filtering when I add the AGP stuff (or anything beyond the core book). There will be a new section at the top of the page that will allow you to select which resources you want available during creation and there will likely also be something on the character sheet that lists...

    Online PFRPG Character Generator

Save/load will not be coming anytime soon (not within the next 8-12 weeks at least). I do have plans to implement such a feature in the future, but I think it might be the one thing that I'll charge a premium for (databases bring in a lot of additional overhead).

    Online PFRPG Character Generator

I got this resolved right after you posted this, or at least once I saw it (tried to reply but ENworld was doing the server migration at the time).

    Online PFRPG Character Generator

I dig a lot of the AGP stuff and I definitely plan on adding content from that book (as well as some of the various mechanics sprinkled through out the rest of Paizo's material), but I want to ensure I have all the core stuff in place and working properly before I translate all those options. I...

    Online PFRPG Character Generator

You're welcome. I'm working on it daily, so if something isn't there now be sure to check back occasionally to see if it's been added.

    Online PFRPG Character Generator

I have opened up the online Pathfinder PRG character generator beta testing to the public. You can find the generator at VentureCaptain.com. I actually plan on expanding the site to host a suite of utilities for use with the Pathfinder RPG including a dice app I’ve been tinkering with that uses...

Is the RPG hobby dying? [RPG Blog Carnival]

Growing the Hobby RPG Carnival Wrap-up It might interest everyone who commented on this thread that I've written an article with my observations of growing the industry/hobby along with a list of participating blogs that also weighed in the on the matter. Growing the Hobby Wrap-Up

Is the RPG hobby dying? [RPG Blog Carnival]

First, I'd like to thank The Action Point for firing up this thread and everyone else for discussing it. I don't think the hobby is dying, or will ever completely go away. The possibility of the death of the hobby wasn't even under consideration when I wrote the article that spawned this...

    Kobold Quarterly #10

I'm one of those Nevermet Press guys Wolfgang refers to, and we had a great time contributing to issue #10. Our article is titled "Swords Against Darkness: Dungeon & Underground Skill Challenges." Jonathan Jacobs (co-founder of NMP), Quinn Murphy, and I present three skill challenges that...

    Revised GSL TODAY!

Eh, I don't think this is a HUGE improvement, especially considering the timeframe involved to make these changes since they were announced on 08/11/2008. I am especially not thrilled about the survivable clauses... To be frank this license looks like it can really screw someone over if they...

    Mad Brew's Rank-Based Conversion - Echelon

I am currently in the process of developing a rank-based (think dot system) d20 conversion I have named Echelon. I am documenting the process on my blog. I am also developing an original setting, The Dead Wastes, that has steampunk and horror elements to be the default world for Echelon...
