Because that makes no sense. It'd be like if the defining trait of the hazodee was, say, that some of them have fangs or that some of them don't need to sleep. Also, are you seriously telling me that none of the other races ever have deformities? But what about the myriad of other deformities...

I still say that letting humans be size small was a strange and ill-advised idea.
