yeah one thing I did that helped too is that I allowed them to fudge the rules in some places. Rules lawyering a kid is the fastest way to get them off the table. After all having fun is the goal.
Mod Edit: EN World only has a few rules, but one of them is not to discuss moderation in-thread. If you have an issue, take it to e-mail or PM to one of the moderators. Thank you. ~Umbran
Being objective doesn't mean not having personal opinions. It means not letting them influence your judging. But no I'm not a robot or a politician if I find a game lacking I will be honest in my judgments. Magic the gathering was a game I started when from the beginning. I have no problem with...
I've recently gotten my kids into roleplaying. My son didn't enjoy the first game we played which was rpgkids. He's not big on fantasy settings so we switched it up to starwars. THey like roleplaying so much now they do it on their own.
One thing that helps is having a mandatory quiet time at...
They killed magic for me, I'm not a 4e hater but it's not d&d as I know it. The kicker is how they destroyed Heroscape. I'd like to say that their wallets will make them realize they're on the wrong path but I guess there are just too many WotC fanboys out there keeping them rich.
Richard Peppers here folks,
Don't forget you can ask the judges anything you want here to get a better grasp of what they represent as well as what we will bring to the table.
Happy voting!
If you have any questions for the judges before you vote feel free to ask us anything either here or through our emails. Happy voting! :)

Yeah I can agree with that. Everyone has thoughts, emotions and personal bias but those things are easily toned down by people who are actively trying. I'm not saying that I would be biased but I, like Frank, can take a step back from my own personal feelings and look at something from an...

I'm a long time gamer and have...
