We set a regular date and time, confirm next week after the session, and do a reminder the day of (usually by sending memes and discussing the dinner plan). I can't remember the last time we played without a person, tbh.

We play weekly. I specifically block out a weeknight for gaming and the people I get into relationships with understand that. That said, we occasionally break for vacations, holidays, etc.

This is my point, though. We only have so much time, so playing only one system just seems like madness.

I have never been monogamous with a single system, though I did play almost nothing but World of Darkness for a decade. Honestly, though, I don't understand why anyone would want to be system monogamous. Why not try new things? There's so many interesting RPGs out there! :)

I will mix digital and physical sheets, books, and dice. By which I mean that I own some physical books, but they stay at home. I generally head to my weekly game with my tablet, some real dice (w/tray), and my phone. What I won't do, though, is online. I enjoy in-person gaming way too much...

Basically, I want 1980's Marvel Comics. :)

I ran a bunch of PCs through Ruins of Adventure/Pool of Radiance. Then we switched DMs and I brought in a PC and the campaign continued. Incidentally, we were running with 3.5 content and the last version of the Pathfinder rules before it officially got published.

This is also how I would rule.

If he must be Human and not Custom Lineage, then the Eldritch Adept feat can get you Devil's Sight, but you need to be a Spellcasting class when you take it.

My thoughts are that I wouldn't try to build a Net-user in 5E unless I was using the Arkadia book, tbh.

You can always just put the Darkness on yourself to avoid hindering the party. :) Spell Sniper isn't really necessary and you can get more EB distance with an Invocation if you want it. War Caster is useful, but also not necessary. Also, once you can fly, you shouldn't be in melee much anyway...

Three attacks is better than Elven Accuracy, IMO.
