I leave in the core species, but add in warforged, shifters, an abberant inspired tiefling and plasmoids as slimefolk. Other species intermixed with core til theres no differences. Goblins intermixed with halflings to the point there's no differences, just throwbacks. Same with Hobs, bugbears...

I don't know. The Ophanim (giant wheels of eyes and wings) have become quite popular to the point that calling them "biblically accurate angels" is a meme. They casually show up in video games as such. Wings, glowy halos and randomly placed eyes seem to be common enough motifs with angels...

These are all PC options - as in, are an existing PHB option. They're humanoids. Deep gnomes are just a flavor of gnome, and those aren't going to change from what the PHB says. Duergar are dwarves. Drow and Orog are just elves/orcs, and elf / orc have stat blocks. They're not going to change...

Some thoughts. I'd argue that the only planes that really matter are the eight alignments (Mt Celestia, Arborea, Elysium, Mechanus, Limbo, Hell, Abyss, Hades) plus Sigil - all other planes exist only as glorified transitional planes. Places you walk through to get somewhere else. You don't...
