Mike Tyson
Played AD&D in the early '80's instead of listening to the geometry teacher. Stopped a couple years later. Carried the books around with me for decades of moves (military) and in 2004-05 the wife and kids wanted to play, so we did 3.5. Then put the books away again till Oct (2017) when a coworker here at the embassy mentioned wanting to play. Played till the Russian Government kicked us out in April (2018). Haven't played since, but now (2024) our youngest is playing D&D weekly nearby. Bought her the 2024 Player's Handbook and again, here I am.
