Need advice on converting D20 Modern to DnD

Hm... The main thing I think you want to keep in mind is that d20 Modern is generally a much lower-magic game than D&D, so unless you're running a game with very little magic you might want to consider lowering the CRs. Defense becomes AC, but they're calculated the same way, so I don't think...

New player race - need help with design

First, I think you may be confusing fomorians (large deformed giants in the MMII, various evil beasties in Celtic legend) with formians (ant-centaur-things from Mechanus). That happens a lot. Second, stats. You really need to list the manuverability rating for a Koborian's flight (clumsy...

They're back: Return of the Slivers. [Updated 24/8-2005: Beware the Overlord!]

And the poison wouldn't be a threat at all, except that it's going to be coming in nearly continuously, because I seriously doubt that these things will travel alone.

They're back: Return of the Slivers. [Updated 24/8-2005: Beware the Overlord!]

Besides, even if slivers DID need entertainment, they don't have thumbs. Hmmm... whenever you start in on original slivers, maybe there's one that grants an opposable thumb? Perhaps just a secondary barb of some sort on the main claw...

They're back: Return of the Slivers. [Updated 24/8-2005: Beware the Overlord!]

Do the spectral slivers not grant a shared ability, or is it just not listed?

One Water Elemental Snackrifice coming up! Great job! Hmmm... since law is doing Incarnations, how about Myr or Kavus for your next project? ;)

They're back: Return of the Slivers. [Updated 24/8-2005: Beware the Overlord!]

Heh heh. Talon slivers: "Keep them at sword's length!" *slivers' claws grow about five feet* "Break out the polearms!" I like the synapse slivers best, though. "Species XR7Y feeds on the brainwaves of its victims. This explains why goblins remain unaffected."

Dubik, vampiric tree for review please!

Actually, with his current size modifier, armor class should be 9, and initiative +0, though I think you're supposed to use the Int modifier... oh, wait, you don't have one of those either. So where did the +1 come from? -- is NOT the same as zero. When you have -- Dex, you simply don't HAVE...

    New Creature - Utyrip

Yes, I think I know what bit of SS inspired Pure to do this creature. The dog at the beginning of the template chapter was supposed to have the Half-Celestial and Half-Gold Dragon templates. It looks like Pure also added the Celestial template (probably before Half-Celestial). And then added...

    New Monster - Pebble Swarm

The fluff is nice, standard elemental and swarm bits are good, vulnerability to shatter is a nice touch, but the scouting ability is confusing. It'd be nice to have a bit of clarification there, please.

    Tonberry and Final Fantasy monsters

Sorry, I've only played FF Tactics Advance. No malboro I've ever fought has actually used Bad Breath, and a Tonberry has only used Karma once. Not only that, but the Tonberries in FFTA have rounded faces with yellow eyes and a sort of round snout (actually, rather like an alligator) and wear a...

    Tonberry and Final Fantasy monsters

Well, the tonberry (and its greater form the masterberry) is probably a plant, and the marlboro (along with the big marlboro) is definately an aberration. I'd go about creating a marlboro with: a nauseating breath weapon (Bad Breath) all-around vision (they have about eleven eyes) a decent bite...

Filling a world! Help needed please.

As far as future animals, look at some of the creatures from The Future is Wild. It was a TV show that ran last year in the US, that detailed what life would be like 50, 100, and 200 million years from now if humans were forced to leave the planet. 100 million years from now isn't all that...
