I think that healing surges were a very interesting idea and that they should have their place in 5th. I do, however, think they should be far more limited in their use, and that there should be fewer of them. In some of my games, they have let the players become a little too relaxed.

I have no deal breakers myself. If it looks like it will be fun to play on a sunday afternoon with a few of my friends, cool. If I can DM while slightly intoxicated, all the better.

Combat As far as combat goes, I would like to see options for tactical combat and for gridless combat.

This is all well and good... I think rule zero is the absolute core to every single game I have ever ran or will run. Whether or not it is explicitly or implicitly in the rules, or forbidden by the rules, makes no difference. I will choose what is good, ignore what is bad, and if I get called...
