My party is romping around the Nightfang spire module. They are about to leave to rest for a bit after making a fairly good dent in the amount of creatures there. I want to give them something a little more challanging to deal with instead of just reanimating the various dead things around...
I can't recall if Wood Golems even exist in the monster manual. Assuming they don't, why couldn't a druid make something like a wood golum? It would be interesting.
From what I can tell, a Vampire could turn a Demon into a Vampire Demon. This seems odd as their abilities overlap so much, but assuming it could happen, how would you stack their abilities like DR and Cold and Acid resistance?

As I run a campaign with some degree of realism, I agree that there is no way for a 3.5 ft halfling to wield a 6 ft sword. The Longsword is the normal choice as it is about 3ft long which would be like a 6ft human using the 6ft greatsword.
Now...a dwarf can use a greatsword. I didn't check...
If I used a downsized greatsword that did 2D4, would it be a medium martial weapon or an medium exotic weapon?
If it's exotic, why not just have the halfling use a two handed bastard sword?
Since I cannot search, I will ask this question; even if it has been asked before.
The rules state that a creature may not use a weapon 2 sizes larger than itself. That is all fine and great but it is very limiting for people who wish to try playing a small race like the gnome or halfling...
This would basically create a Pierce Feat, allowing an archer to hit multiple targets with one arrow if they are in a line. This is more limiting than the Cleave feat since enemies are not standing in a nice line most of the time. To balance this I thought instead of just allowing the extra...
