well that explains why i could not find it... i mean who puts metamagic feats in a divine book....

i recall reading a feat that lets one cast touch spells at a range of 30 ft, but i cant seem to find it. anyone out there know what im talking about, or am i just crazy?

So whats the deal with Unearthed Arcana with referance to open content and SRD? I've been reading about the book to see if it was worth my money, but i keep finding major excerps from it listed on sites. These sites list it as open content. When i check wizards site i find no mention of this...

What are the rules as far as spells with an alignment in the descriptor? Is it for protection purposes only? Or does it prevent a chaotic character from casting a lawful spell? Does class have anything to do with the restrictions? ( i was searching in reference to a wizard) Just wondering...

isn't it possiable to detect an invisable opponent with a sucessful spot check? that is why they include a hide modifier to the spell... right?

im just looking to get a few opinions on what some of you seasoned players would price a cloak that granted the Hide in plain sight ability (as a shadowdancer). Also other than a ranger does anyone know of anyother ways to obtain HIPS?
