As a teenager in the late 80's, playing AD&D on a Sunday was a weekly ritual. Other games like Axis and Allies, Teenagers From Outer Space, Marvel the RPG, Twilight 2000 were thrown into the weekly mix. Then college came. Our group scattered to the ends of the earth. My gaming life sat dormant for nearly 25 years. I was busy.

Then, I reconnected with the old group. One of them sent me a link to the podcast "Nerd Poker: Dungeons & Dragons with Brian Posehn and Friends." Comedians playing D&D. The nostalgia flooded over me like a tidal wave. We reconvened the group and recruited others. Now. I DM an AD&D campaign and play in two other 5e games. I'm still busy, but not too busy for games.
