    Fish & Chips

I don't think deep fried fish is that popular here in North America. Here in Winnipeg we have a local shop that has no indoor seating, but sells some of the best hamburgers and french fries I've had. I'm actually heading there later tonight :D Other than burgers and fries, it also sells ice...

When will my group ever accept me?

I'm wondering if possibly the girl making the insults is jealous of you, or possibly that's just how she acts normally. I've gamed with a woman who was fine with all of the male players, but was a b**** to any female players, including her own best friend. It's hard to say why anyone does...

NHL: Free Agency, Trade, Injury, and Rookie News!

This hockey season should be very interesting. There's been more big names moving this year than in probably the last 8 years combined. I wonder how Vancouver's going to fare this year?

    Thundercats, ho!

I was surprised when I saw them make fun of Thundercats in the Family Guy movie. It had been a while since I'd heard anything about the Thundercats cartoon. I'm looking forward to the release of more of the animated Conan cartoons. I think that's next summer.

Looking for Free DVD Decoder software

DVD Shrink is still a good program, and if you have the room on your hard drive, at least you don't have to worry about swapping discs for movies you want to see.

    Basement

I've gamed in basements more often than in other rooms. It just seems normal to me. I tried gaming outside once, and I enjoyed that a lot, except for the gusting winds near the end of the session. Playing outdoors is also good when surrounded by players who smoke.

3.5 WOO Drawmij's Instant Summons is back!

But if the staff appears in your hand after crushing the gem, where would the staff appear after swallowing the gem?

    [ot]"Fly Boy"

Just think about the feeling of possibly hundreds of flies crawling around inside your body..... *shudder*

    Pirates and d20

There used to be a cartoon "Pirates of Dark Water" that I thought could be made into a suitable campaign, but never got around to converting it. Also wanted to say that the multi-level model ship looks quite impressive.

[Meta/OT] This is an OT thread

Has feeling of Deja-vu..........walks off, shaking his head trying to disbelieve

Need advice-getting rid of a player

Concerning the pig idea, there's a pig farmer near Vancouver that is thought to have killed many (14?) prostitutes, and then fed them to the pigs. I think the investigation is still ongoing. There are some pretty sick people in the world  Anyways, back to the current problem though...

[FR] Wulfgar as a pure barbarian?

The levels for Drittz and his companions always seemed low, considering the monsters that they battled in the novels.

[OT] Why are so many Americans "overweight"

The whole BMI system is flawed. Would you consider athletes that put on pounds of muscle as being overweight? On one site that has a BMI Calculator, a 6' tall person, weighing 185 lbs is considered overweight, being just out of the "normal" category. Now we are being told how much we can...

    [MotW] Hasted Frienzied Berzerker?!?

At least, with the partial action from the haste, you can reach the enemy, and still do a full attack option. Kind of sucks that you only get the one attack otherwise.

    Balancing a d20 hit die

It sounds like the character is already penalized quite a lot, with 1 skill point a level, light armour, and weak saves. All it takes is one failed save, and his HP will be about the same as the rest of the party.
