So, wait a minute. Has anyone thought about what happens with D&D material you bought for Roll20? Could that lead to D&D material being ported to Demiplane?
I cannot see WotC being down with that.
I use ChatGPT and Bing Creator a bunch in my campaigns, both for D&D and other game systems. I like to feed ChatGPT my game summaries and query it for additional plot points that I may have not thought of. It's not going to run my game for me, but it gives me a different point of view on new...
It's one of the reasons when I built my mecha game, it is designed to play on a single Chessex Mondo-Mat. The longest ranged weapons are around 120 hexes. Medium range are around 60 (half the length), short range is 25 (quarter length) and close in weapons are 12 hexes or so (about 1/8th the...
I use these in my mecha game, we call them ammo dice. Depending on how much ammo you fire, you discard rolls of 1, 2, or 3. Once you are out of ammo, that weapon can't be used anymore. Time to switch to another weapon.

Also, Level Up seems to be releasing some pretty detailed previews (the Adept is fully...
I played in a Robotech game that was run using a home-brewed version of Mekton and the GM was known for running campaigns into the ground. I made up a simple techie character and the campaign was awesome. Numerous campaigns and years later that home-brewed game system is still being used...
I was thinking about what makes 5E "feel" like old AD&D games. Now, I have two opinions here, an easy path and a hard path.
The easy path, use an old adventure and just use the monsters in the module but use their 5E stats. Some adventures will be extremely deadly due to the differences...
I've been recording my game sessions with an ipad placed near the middle of the table. It may not work well for games which require a battlemap but the microphones pick up everyone's voice pretty clearly. Then before the next game session, I listen to the recording and jot notes down as I go...
