If you are reading this then I am already close to hopefully being many, many years from dead.
For me gaming started with AD&D and its what I was brought up on, it was the only game in town when I first started playing (a hint at my age, I know). When I first began playing, I wanted to be an astronaut like many boys in Florida did. I then wanted to get into special effects, then wanted to program games, and finally wanted to be a writer.
I've made more money at Technical writing than with my own, modest creations but I still love writing and I love creating. I have more than several of my own projects (including Astral Inc, Dusk, and Star Reach just to name a few) and have made several campaign world attempts with D&D including my most recent for 4E, the Dying Lands. I have yet to use an existing setting, not from a lack of interrest but just because I am but a slave of my imagination and once a world starts to make itself I have to see it through to the end or I am quite certain that my head will explode and the beings and places I've created will come pouring out and I'll have one Athena of a headache.
I also doodle, modestly, love movies, and when I'm not glued to my home office, I enjoy racquetball.
I somehow struck it lucky enough to marry a beautiful redhead who also enjoys gaming, lucky me, though she takes time out for her culinary pursuits (also lucky me).
That's about it *taps mic* Was this thing on?
