I'm thinking hard about a way to combine 4e D&D with Warhammer Fantasy Battle and I was wondering if anybody did this before.
I'd like to have a part of the adventure where the PCs lead big armies against the bad guys.
The idea is that I convert the PCs with their iconic abilities into WHFB...
I believe that this is very easy to fix:
the DM can always increase the number and/or level of the monsters to make the fights more challenging.
Also, Monster Manual 3 and later books have increased the challenge level of monsters. As a DM, I love the new monster design. :)
We use minis from different sources.
The PCs have a combination D&D plastics and Reaper metal minis.
For monsters I have a few dozen D&D minis but we also use unpainted plastics from the Descent and Hero Quest board games. I also have Lego minis by the dozen: dwarves, undead, hobgoblins etc...
We started to use Wave with my D&D group last week.
Previously we had a wiki, a google group and also used IRC.
Now it's much easier, you still get the benefits of real-time chat but you never miss any updates ever.
Adding pictures to the adventure log and attaching character sheets is simply...
Almost every other session I have some sort of written handout: letters or journal entries from NPCs, pages from books describing legends etc.
Can you suggest any good fonts to use for printing these?
(Preferably free.)
I started using Zapfino which is beautiful, but I'd like to have something...
