You bring up a very good point. I can see how a DM would want lower level characters to have "faults" or weaknesses that, over time, are corrected. Since the character gains the opportunity to raise a stat every so many levels and/or has the opportunity to acquire magic items, it makes sense...

Hey everyone! I went back about 8 or so pages of threads just to make sure I dont repeat this question, but if I missed it please dont fireball me :) There was a method of generating characters where every stat starts at 10 and you can increase scores from a bank of points. My question is...

holy *bleep*! Couldn't finish part 2 of the story due to server problems, so had to skip to part 3. Man oh man! I hate it when parties manage to scrape out of what appear to be hopeless situations all the time, because you get lulled into this mindset of "they'll get out of it... right?"...
