Where take you all the kits from (I'm especially looking at the Swashbuckler and the Gladiator from Complete Fighter's)? Are they from the Sword Coast adventures guide? (My only 5e book is the Players Handbook)...
You could borrow from the old Ravenloft setting: There were power checks for some actions to see, if you would attract the attention of the dimension...
There is a list of physical alterations and some kind of bonuses as well.
…and Harvey in color! As usual, I’m not totally satisfied with the outcome of the picture after scanning and uploading, because I seem to lose in quality compared to the original:
I might be able to help here.
A few samples of my work: A female half-elf bard with a cat familiar:
And the full picture of Panartias, my namesake character for this forum:
Well, your song is good too, Lowkey13!
So Harvey the attorney - half-elf bard and lawyer. Actually an intresting character-concept! He can sway the vote of the Jury with his performance and wouldn't even be helpless in duels.
"He's a lawyer for hire -
- they call him the best!
He only cares for his Clients -
- doesn't care for the rest!
He's a lawyer for hire,
beware of his wrath!
With his wit and his sword,
he defeats even faith!
He's a lawyer for hire,
the best in his field,
he bends even laws,
untill everything...
Exactly what I was thinking!
But isn't it fitting that Law trumps over Good by interpreting the rules (or loopholes thereof)
Anyway, Lowkey13 declared LN winner - so I'm all for leaving it at that and have a LN Half-Elven Bard as our mister popular.
I'll even give you a victory song!
Sure!
I had the following servertime displayed:
Yunru: yesterday 1:48AM and 11:46PM
and
DMPC: yesterday 8:57AM and 11:47PM
I may be wrong, but thats what I see!
3 votes for LN in a row - but according to Server time still yesterday. Shouldn't LN Play by the rules?!
My vote would have gone to NG, but I waited usually 24 hours until I voted again, even if in my time-zone a new day begun.
Edit: Yunru and especially DMPC were early with their posts, so...
Well – not necessarily bad but not good either: LN cares more for the uphold of rules, law and contracts than for good and evil.
But I don’t want to derail the thread just now with a discussion, interesting as it might be.
The finals are on! Will our Half-Elf-Bard be a generally good guy or a mercenary / lawyer?!
It seems a bit like a Paladins inner conflict between Good and Law.
Anyway since I already voted today, my position will be the one of a neutral observer…
