That's pretty close to it. It's just a combat action so it doesn't get a writeup like a class ability, but in the adventure they do mention it's Str vs Fort with a success pushing the target one square.

Well, in the SRD there's Bless Weapon that Paladins can cast, bypassing /magic on evil creatures and aligning the weapon to be good. There's also Align Weapon that Clerics can cast, which can grant an alignment to a weapon. Nothing for Cold Iron/Silver/Adamantine, though.
