Scion is not part of the Chronicle (or World) of Darkness. Onyx Path bought the IP for Scion (and the Trinity series of games). Onyx Path has built a new game system for these games because they do not own the Storyteller system. This new system does not, by the way, use a battlewheel.

It (Thorn Strike) does not add to your reach, it simply makes a Melee attack with a range of 2. Now, if your Goliath Warden uses the RPP along with Form of the Oak Sentinel and (don't ask me why) a Glaive, you can use any straight-up Melee power up to 4 squares away.

This. It seems as if the melee powers were designed for "Reach 1". Most of the powers that acknowledge extra reach (via weapon or ability) do so in a restrictive capacity (i.e. "melee 1" or "adjacent enemy").

Also - It is only Melee powers that are affected by reach, regardless of the weapon keyword.

Compendium lists 123 powers with both Close and Weapon. 93 are Close burst.

I have not seen this power in action, but I am leaning on the side of three separate targets. The phrases "second target" and "third target" don't make much sense if you are attacking the same target each time. ymmv

That (what Hypersmurf said), along with the WotC ruling which allows Human Perseverance to be used on death saving throws, pretty much shows the "death save" to be a "saving throw".

To further muddy things, on the Character Builder issues thread at their site, WotC lists this as an error.

Very heavy controller vibe during play. Never had to drop a daily during the session. At-will slow effect pretty nasty. Thunder-Ram is my favorite evocation.

My apologies. I did not realize how mild your definition of "gimped" is. While RoC can help in certain situations, it is not the ultimate in equipment. I freely admit that it is important for a warlock to spread its curse to as many targets as possible. I just don't see that as the target...
