Interested in playing, and possibly DM'ing:
- some really radically non-tolkien-based surrealsit/trippy low-tech fantasy worlds. Dying Earth meets Yellow Submarine meets Baba Yaga legends?
-monster-based OD&D house-ruled games involving things like, for example Beholder PC's who start out as weak larvae and develop into fully fledged beholders as they gain levels. or PC's who come from other planes. who's with me?
- Currently interested in comparing OD&D class-based rules to more open ended Skill-based systems to see which i prefer, as I've had more experience playing the former, but am intrigued by the latter. using either house-ruled versions of OSR rules on one hand or Basic Roleplay, Talislanta, Arcanum, or other rules systems on the other.
