How lethal do you want the game to be? I think that's the question we should ask here. Is the thought of combat alone supposed to make players shake their legs, or should they be able to go into combat guns blazing, and expect to come out on top? a middle field?

I think rather than a penalty for one handing a rifle, it should occur for using too small weapons - say my large android tries to use a size small pistol, it would be like wielding a toy pistol meant for a five or 10 year-old. so maybe a 1 or 2 d6 penalty for every 2 sizes it's smaller than...

Btw Morrus, how does one-handed/two-handed and oversizing work with ranged weapons and character sizes? Example: I have a standard rifle on my large android, can I one hand it? And can I oversize it according to melee oversizing rules? There doesn't seem to be rules for that, for ranged weapons.
