D&D General Poll: What module do you want to see Goodman Games tackle next for Original Adventures Reincarnated?

Why just L1, Secret of Bone Hill, which is less than 50 pages, when they could do L1, L2, and the (rare) L3 all together?

D&D 5E How do you account for Dwarves in heavy armor using variant encumbrance?

So a dwarf can put on 50 pounds of heavy armor and it won't reduce his speed but if he puts on 10 pounds of light armor it will reduce his speed, given that the rule only mentions heavy armor?

D&D General Dragons Versus Giants: A Speculative and Homebrew Explanation For Why They Hate Each Other

In my mind it is much simpler than that. Dragons and giants both eat a lot of food. They can't eat food that the other has already eaten. The more giants there are then the fewer dragons can avoid starving. Similarly the more dragons there are then the fewer giants can avoid starvation. They're...

D&D General How much time exploring a 6 mile hex?

31 square miles is about 864,230,400 square feet, or 34,569,216 five foot squares. If they take one six second turn to search each square it will take them 57,615 hours to do so. If they do so 12 hours per day and 365.25 days per year they can complete the project in about 13.145 years. If the...

D&D 5E Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Official Campaign Settings

It's a network effect. People want an official campaign setting because they know that other people are more likely to be willing to play in an official setting, and this increases their chances of having a gaming group that does not fall apart.

D&D 5E (CR ratings) Could 6 level 6 characters survive and beat a Young Blue Dragon?

When I ran Sunless Citadel I knew that the boss fight with the CR 7 Young Black Dragon was going to be a cake walk, so I had to reskin a Young Red Dragon (Cr 10) instead. There were 7 characters, two at Level 4 and 5 at Level 3. In the next campaign (six of the same seven players), I had to...

    D&D 5E Eberron Equipment Conversions.

You've obviously worked hard on this and it seems both nice and a good conversion of earlier works. However I think that some of the armor is just too good in 5e terms. Darkleaf breastplate and Dreamhide (Light but AC 14 + DEX) and Darkleaf banded armor (Medium but AC 16 + DEX (max +2)), in...
