Yes, but that is very unfun for players. If your party is kidnapped, you want to be awake and able to try and overcome challenges...

I don't think you can point to the prior 8 years as indicative of the issues you laid out being the reason why we didn't see Dark Sun...

I don't completely agree. You can stop a psion from touching the head or reaching out by binding him, but you can't stop the halo glow...

can you to the point of performing Telekinesis? otherwise I am not sure your real-world experience counts ;)
