Putting together a good survey can be hard and will affect the answers you get. Are there any examples (from D&D or PF) available online?

I never left D&D, simply because I never started playing it. Over the years I’ve played dozens of RPGs but not a single session of D&D, AD&D, Pathfinder, 13th Age, True20 - or any other d20 derivative.

Call of Cthulhu might not be action oriented but Mythras (After the Vampire Wars) has a wonderful, gritty combat system. As both are BRP-based, they are easy to combine.

Combining the talent of Tales from the Loop with that of Symbaroum sounds like a match made in heaven. Looking forward to what will come of this.

Good points. I find it almost as bad, sometimes worse, when a game turns into GM vs. players.
