I am of course a D&D players, commonly my memorable Tengshu Tenfinar, a Deva Wizard of custom origin and custom build. I started playing RPGs at the age of 5, but of course at the time I didn't know Neverwinter Nights was even related to any such thing. At that time I was usually picking the muscle of my AI parties, mostly the Paladin. I'm more of a stealthy mage so sometimes my dagger is more deadly than my magic, but mostly the magic makes my character dominant over lurkers. I'm currently 13-14 in September and play video games more commonly than RPGs . Mostly because where I live you're lucky to get your family playing a game with you, instead of them running off because their imaginative juices run short or they simply just can't handle playing an RPG. Anyway although I played NWN I discovered D&D fully this in 2010 around April. At that point I kinda didn't need to learn too much (so I thought) and I really didn't have that much to learn anyway but after session 1, I popped into the books again.
